Event Details

Many important similarities exist between domestic violence and sexual violence from the effects of vioelnce to the services provided to survivors of domestic violence andd survivors of sexual violence. This training provides a basic overview of the issue of gender basded violence, as well as information about how to identify attitudes and beliefs which lead to an environment which gender violence is tolerated. Participants will recieve information on gender violence and participate in activities designed to increase understanding and awareness. 

This training is open for service providers and ALL community member who are intered in learning more about gender violence. Participants will learn how they can be part of the solution to ending gender violence.
